Xiaomi has launched its new Redmi 4 smartphone in India which is the company’s new budget friendly device priced under Rs. 11,000. This smartphone is made in India and priced at Rs. 6,999 for 2GB+16GB variant, which is quite good priced smartphone in the price range.
This smartphone will be available from MI.Com and Amazon India from 23rd May 2017. In total this device is available in 3 variants 2GB+16GB, 3GB+32GB, and 4GB+64GB priced at Rs 6,999, 8,999, and 10,999 receptively. The device runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out-of-the-box with MIUI on top.
Coming to specs, it is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 SoC Octa-Core CPU clocked at 1.4 GHz with Adreno 505 GPU. The device sports 5-inch HD display with resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels with a Gorilla Glass on top. Device comes with 2GB. 3GB and 4GB RAM with 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB internal memory. The best thing about this smartphone is that it has a massive battery of 4,100 mAh which should be good for 2 Days according to company.
Coming to cameras, it has a 13MP rear-facing camera and on front, there is a 5MP camera for selfie with beautifying modes. This time Xiaomi given fingerprint sensor on all variants of Redmi 4 Xiaomi claims that this fingerprint sensor unlocks your smartphone in just 0.3 second. The device is fully made up of metal which gives it a premium look in this price range.
Connectivity options includes 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.0, WIFI, Dual Sim with Hybrid Sim Slot.
