Xiaomi will reportedly unveiling its latest flagship Mi 6 on 11th April, 2017. CEO Mr. Lei Jun had confirmed that the launch will be done in April the company officially revealed final date on its Weibo account that they will launch successor to the Mi 5 on Tuesday. A larger, better-specced variant called Mi 6 Plus is also expected to launch reported by leaks earlier.
Prices of both Xiaomi Mi 6 and Mi 6 Plus are also leaked ahead of official launch on a Chinese social media site. Xiaomi Mi 6 will be launched in two variants one with 4GB RAM and 64GB On-board storage and another one with 4GB RAM and 128GB On-board storage. The one with 4GB+64GB is priced for CNY 2,199 (nearly Rs. 20,500) and 4GB+128GB at CNY(2,599 (nearly Rs. 24,300). While the bigger Mi 6 Plus will be available in three variants 6GB + 64GB, 6GB + 128GB and 6GB + 256GB, reportedly priced at CNY 2,699 (roughly Rs. 25,000), CNY 3,099 (roughly Rs. 28,990) and CNY 3,699 (roughly Rs. 34,600), respectively.
According to leaks and reports we know that MI 6 runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat upon an unreleased version of MIUI. Mi 6 will feature a 5.1-inch Full-HD display with resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. Device comes in 64GB and 128GB storage variant. Coming to cameras MI 6 is tipped to sport 12MP rear camera with 4K video recoeding support and 8MP front camera capable of 4K recording and taking great selfies.
On the other side Mi 6 Plus is reported to have a Quad HD 2K OLED display with Dual curved edges and Dual rear cameras. Both the devices are expected to be powered by Snapdragon 835 processor and also support Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 4.0 technology for faster recharges. Mi 6 Plus is expected to have a 4,000 mAh battery.
